Report Issues

Before you report an issue please make sure to read the IT infrastructure status page 1 for announced and unscheduled interruptions of site-wide services. Furthermore check the mailing-list for ongoing planed maintenance.

Report issues with the compute cluster infrastructure using the Trouble Tickets System 2 by sending a mail to one of the following addresses:

Email-Address Description
Report issues with reading/writing data on shared storage in the directory /lustre
Report issues with SLURM resource allocation or the scheduler-queue

Please include the following information when contacting the support in order to help to identify and resolve your issue:

  1. Your Linux user name
  2. The name of the login node you are using
  3. The error message you receive
  4. The command-line your are executing in a shell

If you are referring to jobs on the cluster:

  1. The Slurm job-identification number (JOBID)
  2. Path to the job wrapper script and/or the commands used to submit
  3. The path to your application (executable)
  4. Path to input and output data
  5. Path to log-files and/or core dumps of crashed jobs
  6. A reproducible example if possible
